A minimalist retro art print featuring a relaxed woman sitting back in a chair with a mountain and water landscape beyond her. The woman is hand-painted in watercolor, while the background was digitally created in soft cream and earthy tones for a calm, vintage travel-poster feel. Minimal mixed media wall art, available as a poster or as a framed art print in black, white or oak.

Laying Back captures a quiet moment of escape — a woman settling into a chair, stretching her legs out and taking in the view. With mountains in the distance, calm water on the horizon, and a warm, minimal palette, the scene has the feeling of a slow afternoon spent somewhere far away from the everyday.

The woman is hand-painted in watercolor, with soft washes, expressive lines, and natural variations that give her a beautifully organic, handmade quality. The surrounding landscape and graphic elements were then added digitally, creating a simple, stylized setting that blends vintage poster design with a contemporary aesthetic.

The muted cream and sandy tones give Laying Back a warm, understated retro character. The combination of the relaxed figure, mountain landscape, and clean graphic shapes creates a nostalgic travel-poster feel — calm, effortless, and quietly adventurous.

This wall art is perfect for bedrooms, living rooms, reading corners, beach houses, creative spaces, or anywhere you want to bring a sense of calm and wanderlust into your home. Display the poster on its own as a minimalist statement piece, or pair it with other vintage, travel, coastal, or nature-inspired artwork for a relaxed gallery wall.
